MILE---13,873.5

Mile 13,873.5 brought me to the old familiar stomping grounds of South Florida. Like leaving Southern CA, only a little more Latin food as opposed to Mexican food, I leave with a full belly, a song in my heart and a tear in my eye.

On this part of my trip I've learned that the journey is what counts not the destination. I know the end of my story, like everyone else, and so I focus on the journey and so the journey continues. On the road again I pull into a rest area in Southern Georgia for the night with a beer, a subway footling, and my thoughts of which I am conveying to you. If I had to abridge my thoughts about Southern Florida it would be FAMILY and FRIENDS. I leave behind wonderful memories of people places and things. Please try to enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
