GRAND CANYON DAY 2

Day 2 started out like any other normal day with a herd of wild animals moseying through my camp. It went down to the 20' s and there was frost on the windows. I slept well, I was sore from hike yesterday and my  body needed the rest. The cold didn't bother me. Awake, I was off on another adventure.
THE WATCH TOWER AT DESERT VIEW
The Watch Tower is located at the western end of the canyon. It was designed and built by Mary Colter in 1932. It is an exact replica of a Hopi Tower Kiva, a ceremonial room.
Looking out from the tower.
