WOW !!!

Two countries come together in a pristine world of rock and ice. Canada and the United States share what is to me a fantasy world of raw beauty and wonder.

Glacier and Waterton Lakes National Parks is to date the most spectacular visually stunning area I've visited. Glacier on the American side and Waterton on the Canadian side was established in 1910. In 1932 The U S and Canada joined together both parks to establish the worlds first International Peace Park.

Roads are built to transport people from one place to another, by definition, but not here. "Going To The Sun Road" transports people to a make believe world of rock cliffs, 10,000 ft mountain peaks,  glaciers, water falls, and crystal clears lakes and streams. If Walt were alive today he would unsuccessfully attempt to harness this 65 mile road into a ride. Quiet thrills and chills are exercised by everyone. Groups of people quietly stare at scenery and then they move on. No one speaks. As if they are meditating in unison they quietly move on to the next scene. If I had to describe this stretch of road magically carved into solid rock at 10,000 ft it would be SPIRITUAL.
